The Division 2 Athletics Directors Association (D2 ADA) announced the 2019-20 recipients of the D2 ADA Academic Achievement Awards on Thursday afternoon. Lindenwood Athletics had 188 recipients of the prestigious award, leading the Great Lakes Valley Conference (GLVC) and finishing third in all of NCAA Division II.
Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ¹ÙÍø is proud to announce a partnership with ITEN, the IT Entrepreneur Network. Molly Hudgins, interim dean of Plaster School of Business and Entrepreneurship shared this announcement in a schoolwide meeting, in anticipation of the fall 2020 semester. As a new division of Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ¹ÙÍø, ITEN will expand its programming and provide opportunities for Lindenwood students to gain real experiences in the tech industry and engage with leaders in the field.
Dr. Chad Kerksick, associate professor of exercise science and director of the Exercise Performance and Nutrition Laboratory at Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ¹ÙÍø, has published his 100th peer-reviewed manuscript.

After years of event management and booking top celebrities for events in Dubai, Genera started to feel like she could do more. Genera worked to establish a luxury motorcar brand in Dubai while there. That opened her eyes to the automotive world. She knew she wanted to go into the automotive field because it was a very large market but she didn’t know what steps to take first. She knew she wanted to do business with Africa.
ITEN Company, GiftAMeal, recently released the findings of a 17 month long study with Partner Bloom Café . Transactions from Bloom Café were split into two groups: customers that used the GiftAMeal app and customers that did not.
In response to a growing concern with COVID-19 and living in a residential hall setting, Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ¹ÙÍø is temporarily suspending the residential requirement for new students and all students otherwise required to live on campus including student-athletes, Presidential, and Sibley Scholars. Students now have the flexibility to live either on or off campus.
Hope Barnes has been named a recipient of the U.S. Department of State’s Benjamin A. Gilman International Scholarship, which is administered by the Institute of International Education. Barnes is from Irondale, Mo., and is a senior at Lindenwood. She is pursuing degrees in cultural anthropology and music.
