Â鶹ÊÓƵ¹ÙÍø Class of 2022 graduates Brian Kristin and Isaac Jacquez were commissioned as Second Lieutenants in the United States Army on May 19.

Â鶹ÊÓƵ¹ÙÍø will host the 2022 NCAA Division II Women’s Lacrosse National Championship May 20- 22 at Harlen C. Hunter Stadium in Saint Charles, Mo.

For a second consecutive year, Â鶹ÊÓƵ¹ÙÍø’s online MBA has been ranked the top program in the state of Missouri by Fortune Education. Ranked in the top 100 nationwide, the Plaster College of Business and Entrepreneurship’s focus on real experience and academic course flexibility solidifies Lindenwood’s program as a nationwide standout.

On April 20, Lindenwood faculty, staff, and students volunteered their time to stuff 150 backpacks full of school supplies for elementary, middle, and high school students as part of LindenGiving, a community outreach endeavor.

Â鶹ÊÓƵ¹ÙÍø raised more than $125,000 during Giving Week 2022, surpassing its goal of raising $100,000 and setting a new Giving Week fundraising record.

Â鶹ÊÓƵ¹ÙÍø will host its spring commencement ceremonies Friday, May 6 and Saturday, May 7 at Â鶹ÊÓƵ¹ÙÍø in the Hyland Performance Arena.

Â鶹ÊÓƵ¹ÙÍø is excited to invite alumni back to campus for Alumni Reunion Weekend.

A culminating event of the 2021-22 academic year, Â鶹ÊÓƵ¹ÙÍø’s Student Academic Showcase displayed research and creative works from more than 60 students. Spanning all academic colleges and a variety of disciplines, students presented original research, led creative talks, and discussed exploratory projects with faculty, staff, and fellow students.

Â鶹ÊÓƵ¹ÙÍø, led by the College of Arts and Humanities, has positioned itself as a hub for immersive reality research and innovation. Immersive realities, including Augmented Reality (AR), Virtual Reality (VR), Augmented Virtuality (AV), and Mixed Reality (MxR), have been used in education since the 1990s but have only recently become broadly viable as a consumer technology since the release of the Oculus Quest 2 in 2020. Rather than remaining limited to the realm of pure entertainment in video games, developers have increasingly focused on the potential of educational VR experiences.

Â鶹ÊÓƵ¹ÙÍø has again been named to the Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society’s Transfer Honor Roll for 2022. PTK recognizes the institutional commitment and resources available at Lindenwood to support transfer students.
