In the 2025 fiscal year, Â鶹ÊÓƵ¹ÙÍø built on its recent fundraising success. For the third time in four years, the University raised more than $6 million to support the Lindenwood community.
President Emeritus Dr. James Evans, and former First Lady Mrs. Lois A. Evans, have been impacting the Â鶹ÊÓƵ¹ÙÍø for more than four decades. This summer, the Evans’ made a transformative gift commitment that will benefit many future generations.

Many students find ways to stay busy during the summertime. Some work, study, or take time to relax. This summer, Caroline Gates could be found buying and delivering Barbie dolls to local children’s hospitals. A sophomore at Lindenwood, Gates’s story did not begin this summer, though.
On September 4, four years after the University announced plans for a nursing program, Lindenwood celebrated the grand opening and ribbon cutting for its new Bachelor of Science in Nursing program. More than 100 supporters, Lindenwood employees, and regional partners joined the inaugural class of BSN students for the occasion.

A licensed clinical social worker with a deep passion for student development, Potter brings extensive expertise in clinical practice, supervision, and practitioner well-being.

Lindenwood is preparing to welcome new students moving on campus Wednesday, August 20 for the start of the fall semester. Move-In Day will be followed by Welcome Home Weekend events, running Wednesday through Sunday, that help new Lions settle in and connect with the campus community.
